Ceftobiprole is an experimental cephalosporin antibiotic with activity against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus.[1] It was discovered by Basilea Pharmaceutica and is being developed by Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Research and Development.[1]
