Overview

Diffuse lymphoma is a type of Non-Hodgkin lymphoma where there is not a detectable pattern to the tumor's progression through the lymph node (in contrast to follicular lymphoma.)

The distinction between "diffuse" and "follicular" is only one of many distinctions made in classifying NHL. (See Non-Hodgkin_lymphoma#Types_of_non-Hodgkin.27s_lymphoma for more details.) Types of diffuse lymphoma include:
